I have made alot of progress over the last month. I made some connections with a local body shop that let me work on my ski there and use all of his tools and stuff like that! Any ways I am out of my cold shop/storage unit and in a very nice professional shop.
First thing I did was cut a ton...
just a idea but did you think about a ledge or a lip so your feet have something to catch? BAsicaly what it would be is a cut out of foam along the back/bottom about 2-3 inchs high. then class the cut outs. Just idea that I am going to do to mine once I just the tray wider on it.
Fresh in the package! I havn't decided if I am going to run it next season or keep it in the box. I need to make up a yamaha graphic for the sides of it.
I had a guy off of the x build me a ported 750 and it was dirt cheap! I had the engine checked out with local shop and they told me a was amazing work too! If you have any interest I can give you his contact info.
I am running 28cc domes and it is at 165psi (Pump gas). It is convenient to change domes instead of having different heads. Also I am not a big fan of the stock dome shaping so aftermarket head benefits there too. On top of it all it looks nicer than stock.
It would work but I think it would be cheaper finding a nice 750 than paying for custom pistons and a ton of machine work to a Frankenstein engine that you dont know how well it will even run.
I have always done carpet on my bunks, and it always works very well. But I might have to do a trailer if I buy more skiis so I think I am going to lay down some pvc on my open atv trailer.
