Any thought to military service? Officer pay is pretty nice, plus it's about as good as it gets as far as job security. You'll have to move around more than normal, but to me that's a plus.

Sounds like you might need a new wear ring. They swell over time.

What hardware did you use to attach it to the steering stop? I'm about to drill a hole in my handlepole, but I'd much rather use that as a mounting point.

This hull is all but done, so I'm swapping everything into a RN hull next winter. I found a SS bolt that's long enough. The one that comes with Blowsion's rope doesn't fit a stock SN pole.

Installing a Blowsion limiting rope on a SN right now. Should I run the eyelet bolt in place of the steering stop pin, or do I need to find a longer eyelet bolt that will fit through the thicker part of the pole?

I personally like the front strap/rear hold combo for surfriding. I feel more secure with a front strap, but I can get out quicker with a rear hold.

Check your impeller for damage. What may seem like minor dings in the leading edge can really screw up the flow through the pump.

I've used some 1:1 epoxy on styrofoam without it melting. You could also just throw down a layer of plastic or something else to keep the resin off of the foam.

3-way rotary on the SJ. On the Blaster I took a toggle switch with a boot seal, soldered on the wiring, then coated the case and solder joints with epoxy and attached it to the underside of the start/stop switch. Nearly three years and it's still working like new. Not the prettiest thing, but...

That's what I did a few weeks ago. Not my first choice, but I didn't want to waste what could be my last full season of riding for a while. My ski was back on the water within a week of placing the order.
