It's not like you went from a 1/4" diameter tube to 3/4"! How is it the cables fault for hitting the pump?

I assumed it's epoxy because of the color. Aren't polyester resins usually greenish...?
The color has also faded a lot over 23 years, so using the original pigment isn't very useful or worth the hassle in my opinion.
So this question is for my boat. Previous owner let the swim platform rub on the dock for years I guess and the gel coat is worn to the fiber glass on both corners. It appears to be epoxy resin, which I have heard gel coat doesn't normally stick to. Any tips on how to put fresh gel coat on these...
I had just gotten my truck right and hit 15 mpg, then threw 33x12.5s on it and it dropped again. But I've driven a week doing 55 on the highway and then 70-75, and no difference in mileage, so faster is better!

Damn, my 1989 F150 with 5.0 gets 13-14 mpg usually; 11 mpg recently hauling 3000 pounds to Maryland... Now my Dad's 85 F250 with a 460- that truck got 6 mpg no matter what, like how you described your V10. And it was just as fun to drive, too!
Rebuilt one engine for our boat and swapped it last month. Yesterday I finally took the stock iron manifold off the other engine and put a matching aluminum one on. Still got to finish putting the cooling system back together, but the hard part is done.
Took the engine out and left the foam in. It was Swiss cheese and a ton of work to recover!
I actually still use the starter from that ski in mine, four years later...!
