Hopefully my builds can pick up some steam here soon.
I decided on paint and gave the go ahead for the helium. Hopefully it will be done this week and then @tricky1 can work some turf magic.
(I chose the far left)
Ordered a powerfactor for the Rickter. Tim has my Dasa boxed up and is waiting...
Got pumps.
Fresh Xs162 and new XScream trim.
I think the thrust pump needs some love. Might need a rebuild But I got a great deal on it so it’s ok.

This is the one I use.

I’m not going to use your motor but I’ll use XScream 900r as an example with 78mm stroke and 133mm rods since I don’t know what rod length he used on your motor. I would assume stock but idk.
Just input your stroke, rod...
Do you have a lightened msd flywheel or not? I find tdc and use a dial indicator in the spark plug hole. I use a piston position calculator to determine were the light on the msd should come on

Damn. I cut mine at 18” recommend by TC. I can extend them out a inch on each side and I have 75mm risers rolled back at a 45° angle. Hopefully it’s not too short. I am a pretty big guy with some reach though

Anyone know how tall the pole pad needs to be to clear the rrp hood scoop? The supplied one isn’t tall enough for the pole to clear the scoop. I had a couple small pfp blocks laying around and I cut them up and stuck them to the bottom then cut and sanded my butt off. I shortened it some too...
One filler down and one to go. I don’t want to run the push in style grommets this year. I was trying to get ahold of cold fusion because at one time he had access to all the Jaz molds and said he could make any jaz tank with the his inserts already in the tank. I never was able to get ahold of...
Nice color choice! Don’t worry about the bracket. I sent my pole bracket and hooks back to taylor and he is swapping them out for black. Probably another week till they come in. Not having a front foot hold normally wouldn’t be a big deal but even if I mount a strap by foot is too big to fit in...
Might have been unnecessary but now I feel much better about it.
We ended up adding a 80oz layup on the side. I can’t believe how thin it was. There was just one thin layer of glass over the core material. If you weren’t careful you would sand through it into the core. I wouldn’t be surprised...
Austin made me a carbon tank pod for the 3 gallon tank going in the helium. He sure is getting good at making parts.

That’s about $50 worth of carbon tube right there. Do I get to deduct that from the Rickter reinforcement? Just consider the beer complementary [emoji481]

It’s a Carbon Core layup. It’s the first xfr they have done this way. Trust me building 2 high end skis isn’t for the faint of wallet. Mine is really feeling it right now.
Helium is at the paint shot waiting for them to catch up on some work. They have been busy and I’m not in a big hurry ...
Drive up to @Yami-Rider ‘s and brought the ski. Used his band saw to cut the carbon pole tubes down to 18”.
Now it’s like a baby pole. The chinpad looks longer than the tubes.
They used core material in lots of places to stiffen this hull up but the big flat spot on the sides were not one of...
