We run these on every pump we build. Yamaha added them to save the seals and bearings. If you beach your ski and dont have one of these you will wear out you seals quicker. Cheap insurance

Thanks for the props Alec. Yes Torrents 155 or Torrents 155 Pro series will work great with that TPE. Considering i had a KDX, now DVX and own a 1021 and 1105 and 1200 TPE and have propped the 148, 150, 155, 160 on almost all of them we should be able to dial you in first try.

Agreed, and besides the 5 min if you used commodity midshaft and seals and not one they fit funky and will definitely heat up.. Water test and recheck before discussing more.

Did you re-shim motor so that its aligned and the coupler is not doing the hearing up? How long did you run on hose?
