So its a brand new ET1107 short block from Art?
Have you had the engine running with no issue/back fire?
Did the ignition and carbs come from a perfect running ski?
The FS 49 and Dasa/Riva PB 48 is so close. I ran back to back with same jetting and having a really hard time telling the diffrence.
So go with same jetting as your FS 49 and youre good
No, straight from Arts CNC.
Like @Jcary85 said, i also talked with Art - he said you could raise the ex port 1mm to get more topend. But my setup made more power than i could use
Why are you asking?
You still need to very realistic about whats your TOP line for budget. You dont get a "nice" carbon 900cc+ flatwater ski for 10.000 euro, in Europe.
So better listen to people who had several skis and knows the price tag on these AND their capabillities, so you dont end up spending 7.000 euro...
What do you expect from this ski?
Yes the ski will be capable of flatwater flip. But not nessecactly you will get it to around.
Regarding Hp, dont focus on numbers, most people wont tell you real numbers.
So for freesyle, my perspective is that every single part is now made by several AM manuafactors - hence the sport will be alive as long as people will pay for the parts and its legal to ride the skis.
However i really hope the electric segment will step up, but it requires people to put money...
I dont wanna sound like a Dbag, but thats a cast cylinder someone polished - not a billet. Its still a nice cylinder :)
I have a buddy with a similiar setup, i think he also ran flat tops.
1 - discon
2 - discon
3 - i guess just as reliable as any other engine :)
4 - yes Former JSTL, now CPI (2 ch cdi zeeltronic box, "identical to PDCI-23-HALL" if you ask me ) with ET flywheel.
5 - yes unless MSD discon the enhancer at some point.
I will ask, but i dont think the BT is gonna happen, eventho it would be cool. I asked about making loose wires for the programmer lead (last time i talked with him about it, i guess thats 2 years ago lol) that would be possible, just to make the most "water proof" unit.
This is not what we are looking into doing. Although i know alot of MSD pickups out there (it got my fair share). The price of a hall sensor is like 1/10 of a MSD pickup - hence it make sense to swap it out for hall sensor BUT with the intention of running same MSD or MSD style flywheel and...
So in a little relation to the thread about state of the industry, one thing came to my mind.
I think around 4-6 sets of molds for AM hulls has been sold the past years. Are people punching out hulls from these molds?
Please chime in if you know anything.
From molds i remember on top of my head...
Congrats with that hull, its a nice and good riding hull!
I too rode that thing in 2014 at WF with the TPE1105 - and like @Big Kahuna said, it was really powerfull combo :)
