Yes you can use 46mm shafts. you might need to "slot up" the slice for the butterfly. THey butterfiles are custom cut, since they are noget made from Mikuni. So in thoery you could use dasa 48mm butterflies - but becasue Dasa cut their own and Art cut their own there might be diffrent...

haha well i could be wrong, but im pretty sure the company who posted that above picture did not buy TPE. They copied the cylinders.

Dont stress it. Bend it up (pitch up) and when then blades increase diameter, you can file/sand the blades to get the correct blade to wearring clearance. Thats how i pitch my impellers, works very well

So many variables, so question is relative to the rider :) You could possbily do it on a 760cc in a Revovler R or BUN, with a small and light enough rider. Look at Gabe or TC's kid. they will idle flip a ski with a 701 or 760.

It might give some comfort to a potentiel buyer, to post pictures of the bore and pistons (especially when its not bolted together).

well here is a bomb, Lee Stone rode with BUN trim up until the new XS. BUN trim has NO rubber flow guard :) PS. People gotta look at the Pitch Components trim, you have tuneabillity with interchangable rings in exit nozzle AND steering nozzle :)

@waxhead are you making this cylinder iwht auxillery exhaust port or maybe a bridged exhaust port? Will you make cylinders in diffrent strokes - or "only" one stroke and bore combination? I like the idea of a cast cylinder :)

Pretty "easy". Look into the pump, is all veins there, are they in OK condition. Is engine bay somehow nice or is it a dump. If its not taken care of - it will show and you can walk away. Most skis in Denmark er mainly salt (some places more salty than others) but it shows who takes care of...

dosent matter, from that chart only diffrence is the hardner. not the resin :) Ive used WS 105/206 with good resulsts and i have also used easy composites resin with slow and fast hardner mixed with 404 with equally good results :)

West systems 404 is the filler poweder to add to the mixed epoxy resin. I use Easy composites epoxy and then put in the 404 https://www.westsystem.com/404-high-density/

You could also just use a good epoxy with filler in(like west system 404). im pretty sure Xscream uses normal epoxy with filler material for case filling. And not Aluminium epoxy.

One of mine is a "twister handle rachet". When you turn the handle, the rachet with turn the socket. Very neat for places with space is very limited.
