What killed the forum? How can it be revived?

Actually that makes a great point. We used to be able to upload videos direct to this site and once that stopped, people were forced to other platforms. Could it be that simple?

What killed the forum? How can it be revived?

How many times can you have the exact same conversation? Sure, you did a search and your symptoms are"different" than all the other's mentioned but it's really not. Honestly, if people remember there's a tech section and spent some time reading, everything has been answered and there's only so...

    A Little OCD………. Solutions!

It was a pleasure to work with you Paul as always and I hope the test bench lived up to it's hype. Like all projects, it's never finished but you re-lit the candle to at least move forward on 2 to 3 revisions to make it better for next time.

    the trivial complaints thread

We have 2.55 acres. It's also a brand new yard that was forest just 8 months ago so I knew she was going to beat a few things up. It's mostly sand too so the erosion has been horrible. We pulled out all the stumps that were visible but everytime it rains, more show up. Everytime she mows, I...

    the trivial complaints thread

The wife says her new Riding Mower isn’t cutting right. It’s leaving strips of grass and she has to make multiple passes to clean it up. [emoji3061][emoji1751] The factory supplied blades are nothing compared to the replacement mulching blades.

    Another No Spark Thread

The charge coil values are way out of spec so that is likely your culprit. You said you had weak spark last year, did it ever not run until it sat for a bit and cooled down then would run again for 15-20 minutes? You can test the secondary of the coil with a decent multi-meter if it reads high...

Other What did you fab up today? A thread for the home fabricators!

I'm $30k over the original budget but more than pleased how it turned out. I designated the footprint and told my builder to make it match the house and he came up with the rest. I literally had no idea what it was going to look like until they started framing and was pleasantly surprised to get...

I've been watching marketplace for a manual forklift. Triton lite - rear tie down?

I drilled through the frame and installed a 1/2" stainless eyebolt for the middle tie-down point. The back sides had the welded on tabs already but if not, just add two more eyebolts.

    Down for the Count

They gave me 50 tabs of Hydrocodone after my sinus surgery and I only took 3 of them. Two back to back in the 12hrs after surgery and the 3rd about 3 days later so I could finally fall asleep. I joked about selling the rest to a guy at work so my wife flushed them down the toilet, lol. My...
