Since this is a thread on the warm and fuzzies in life, I figured I'd share our latest adventure.
It's been in the works for a couple weeks now but our 2022 Honda Insight, (Sport Touring), with just 3054 miles on it, was just loaded onto a transport to be delivered to my Sister-In-Law up in...
We've been cooking 2-3 meals a week outside for the past couple months now. We stage the food in the morning, do yard work all day and then start the fire pit around 4pm to start cooking over a bed of oak coals.
We do Bedder Chedders and Hamburgers quite a bit but we have been splurging on some...
We hadn't ridden more than a couple times in the last 8-9 years so we were in the same situation. I always said I would never sell them but after they sit for 4 years, you really start to wonder if you'll ever come back around to them. Then they both fire right up and you enjoy them for a...
I had all 3 parts of the pipe done for $175 and it stands up very well to salt.
I had it done in 2010 and here is what it looked like when I sold the ski in fall of 2022.
For reference, the factory powder coating was coming off after just one season of salt water riding.
I send all mine off for ceramic coating. Keeps that raw polished look but will look good for decades and hold more consistent temps.

I'd be inclined to lean towards the milwaukee because I have so many of the batteries already but the reviews are horrible. Stripped out gears seems to be pretty common.
Took a day off from hanging drywall in the shop to rest up my shoulders and knock a bunch of smaller tasks off the list.
Helped the wife with yard cleanup for a few hours. She loads up the truck with leaves while I do dirt runs and fill in holes using her dump trailer.
Acid etched the...
I actually bought all the necessary parts to build some adapter harnesses to make this a plug and play conversion.
For some reason I stopped moving forward because I thought that the contacts were different from Yamaha to Kawasaki.?.?.? ie: one was normally open where the other was normally closed.
I may have to try one of these again. I got a cheap pneumatic unit years ago that wasn't worth a damn so I just figured they were all useless with no torque.
Lol, not out of line but it can be a touchy subject for some. I use humor for all hard conversations and would jump in with something along the lines of "how much ass did you eat for lunch and next time bring enough for everyone!"
I worked with a guy who had the same issue. He'd be trying to...
Does custom bending a screwdriver around your hand count as fabrication?
I was using a flat blade screwdriver to dig out a plug from the hole saw and somehow pinned the go button while I was doing it and wrapped the shank of the driver around my hand. It happened in a blink of an eye and I am...
^^ Good point. Worn or siezed brushes in the starter motor could be a likely culprit too. Does the Solenoid click every time you press the button or is it intermittent too? If it clicks everytime then you can narrow your search down even further and look at the solenoid itself, the starter or...
