Is there a do's and don'ts for Pismo, and/or a checklist of what to bring for the first timer? (must-haves/nice-to-haves/leave-it-home-you'll-never-need-its)

I dont know the answer to this, but im guessing unless you're already running a 1200/160 than I would assume the answer would be more thrust or "move more water faster and longer" . I guess the answer could also be something like "try a different trim setup"...

I have the opportunity to buy a brand new 900 complete top end+intake+reeds+carbs for "cheap", so I'm trying to see what's out there to determine if I will be able to build the motor on a budget.

Put 7 gallons through the Superjet at Sherman Island yesterday and now I'm VERY sore lol

Got to rip my first lake yesterday after wrapping up a few projects at my boss's +12k sqft lakehouse (pictured). Jumped some boat wakes. Made some new friends. It was a good day.
