My GF had no riding experience, but I let her try my SXR several times and she never really took to it. After getting knocked over by a few small waves that was it, we were back to the beach. I think getting used to the throttle control was difficult for her. I didn't want to buy a couch, so...

Here's a few pics of a brawler gen 1 that I recently re-assembled. Been chasing a few electrical issues but it is almost done. Can't wait to ride it!! Setup is a 760 with ported cylinder, limited Bpipe, dual 46 blackjacks, solas 144 stator, xmetal mid length pole and trim.

My brother and I ride in South Haven several weekends a year. I'd like to try another place because the channel is long and the authorities hassle us a lot. Maybe we'll take a ride up to PS this year.

Thanks, I do have a manual. Cleaning the carbs now, if that doesn't resolve the issue I will try the regulator/rectifier next. Frank

Haven't heard of that before, what is it and where does it go? I changed the coil earlier today and it started right up, wasn't blowing oil/fuel but then it died. Now it won't start! Thanks, Frank

Still working on this thing. Inspected the flywheel and it was fine, pulled carbs off and checked them too. Didn't notice anything wrong or stuck with them. I also cutback the plug wires and it still seems the same. Into the ebox now, thinking about trying a different coil. Thanks again for...
