I flipped the stator upside down so the factory outlet is on the left side of the ski and not interfering with the steering cable. Then tapped another fitting on the steering cable side out of the way of the cable.
I ran an X metal on my 144 setup, with and without the bpipe coupler mod.
Ive never ran the thrust system to compare it, however my friend just got an RRP system coming from a thrust system so I'll get a review from him once he rides it.
Im really impressed with my RRP trim system.
One of the few products i've bought for my ski that's worth every penny.
First off overall quality it top notch
The trim ring tolerances are tight, it has no leakage when fully turned giving that extra force with spins and rolls.
It comes with a...
Good point, someone also mentioned using a dehumidifier recently. I'm going to buy one and probably end up using it thru the winter and anytime there is traces of water in the hull.
Since its been raining nonstop and it's super humid in my storage shed creating continued condensation with a new dasa engine I'm ocd about,
My ski got invited inside for now.
I'd Like to hear everyone's setups. Im going dasa 1000 bpipe oem 155 6/14. Yet to get a 155 reduction nozzle. I'm stoked to finally run some decent power.
Thanks guys. If I need to I can use the rrp coupler spacers and move the midshaft back 10-14mm or whatever the difference is. Or I'll send a couch shaft to the maniac to shorten.
I'm looking foward to having more than 701 power for the first time.
Are the driveshaft length the same for oem 144 and oem 155 pumps? Going in an Sj based ski.
I've searched a few threads and couldn't find any info and I've heard mixed info from my sources.
@Jamo07sj I got a 16 xfr too. check your hood placement. My hood came off under impact and my ski sunk all but the nozzle and I had to hold it to be towed to shore. Thankfully I was at disco bay and not in open water or surf.
I've been running the wps size 14 for 8 months with no issues. Stock charging system. Totally drained it twice when swamping my ski and the indicator no longer works. So far so good.
made my heavy ski a little lighter for cheap too.
An evo is maybe 6" shorter than an SJ. Definitely flips and rolls easier than Sj but by no means is a flatwater ski.
An xfs /xfr is much shorter than an evo this guy above shows pics of the tray but the bottom deck is much shorter
I was about to post the same question. I've ran the pro form on past superjets and now I'm riding a rickter and don't mind buying a more expensive strap and would like to find the ideal setup.
Im riding in front foothold and rear strap.
The pro form ended up fitting very tight with a 26mm or...
Yup that's what it was!!
the two right rear screws where loose... But I didn't loctite them, I'm sometimes hesitant to loctite Allen bolts where corrosion might be an issue. So I might be pulling it apart again to loctite but that's ok it gets quicker and easier each tune.
Thanks for looking out!!
I'm always down to ride. Tomorrow included.
Just trying to work out this nasty low rpm vibration in my ricker evo I just put together. Maybe the new warranty rhass mounts I just put in
