I have the last year of the GP760 = a 2000 - definitely a rubber block & definitely no hoop on the side of either bedplate. Don’t think I’ve seen, or noticed, a hoop in a bed plate before, huh

I have a couple of them if you do not get together with the other guy on a setup. LB

I have been using these for 15+ years & easily get 3 - 4 years out of them in all salt water use. You will want to bring them into the garage during the winter though! Agreed Mark, thanks for looking at it. I am hoping that someone who knows alot more about these than I do sees this post & can confirm good or defective.
