I ran a few searches but didn't come up with a discussion directly on this subject. My number one goal is to keep water out of my motor after bending a rod in my 1105 last year and now I have a freshly built 950 in my new ski. I know switching to a b-pipe would probably solve it, but my XFR...
I just discovered these guys today and came to this thread to post about them.
I have no clue how they operate but they found this boat in 50ft of water.
Thanks. I’ve been riding the X2 for a while and I’ve owned it the longest.
The on screen stuff is from the gopro software. I don’t remember which gopro I have, maybe a 6? Definitely cool with the track recording!
The X2 is a 750, coffmans exhaust, single 44 SBN. UMI steering and the pump...
This video is from August 2019. I am not a jet ski racer and the ski is far from set up properly for buoys, but I tried it out for the fun of it in an open class that didn't require a membership.

You are right. My 001 is on the cylinder. And mine did take out the connecting rod last year because of water leaking into the exhaust port through the jacket.
My friend put out-of-the-box CR500 pistons in his 950 earlier this year. The only modification that had to be done was recutting the domes. Side by side, the only real noticeable difference was the crown of the Dasa piston being machined down. He's got over 20 hrs on it now.

Latest model 2016+ only. I prefer ready to ride with a powervalve engine, but I'm ok with sourcing some parts to complete, if necessary. Does anyone have something coming up for sale at the end of the season?
Very quick communication and handling time. I don't think he took more than 5 minutes to respond to any of my messages. And the parts were shipped right away also.
