I just had XPO Logistics move a crated ski from Pennsylvania to Minnesota, too 3 days and it was $297. Best company I’ve shipped with by far, I would highly recommended them
Call Max Bush at Crank It Up Garage, 2189632900. You will not find a more knowledgeable Polaris Octane ignition mechanic. He has a huge collection of skis and new and used parts. Super nice guy also. He has straitened out ignition issues on a couple of my Octanes. He also outfitted the EME 1000...
If you are planning to add a Mag stator housing make sure it is compatible with the new stator section. Most of the ones I’ve seen use a wear ring and stator section that are both sleeved and bored together as a matched set, eliminating the nasty bevel on the OEM wear rings that will be in the...
Haha, 4th axis would be nice to have for sure! My mill is only digital readout and XYZ power feed, no CNC at all but my Menards CNC (aka, 4.5” angle grinder with cut off wheel) takes 20 minutes to fix any bendix and ring gear and I guarantee they won’t ever misfire again. Plus those teeth on a...
My money is on the finals going as usual for all those who are allowed to travel to and from their foreign destinations. We may be having the US World Finals...
I/we pull full trim under full load with 900-1200 cc freestyle engines here all day long zero issues. Raptor and XScream trim gives very minimal feedback through the lever
Yeah bunch of pipe dreamers “if I had more time” or “thinking about making”. I’m guessing this thread is a repeat of a repeat and probably gone down this same path every year. Nobody ever follows through when the commitment and outlay comes due. Aftermarket jet ski business is tough, I’ve said...
I honestly think Factory Pipe needs to nearly double the price of the full kit. PowerFactor kit is twice the price and if they got good money for b pipes they would probably make a run. Think about how little margin there is in an 800 kit. Casting two double wall parts, machining in a fixture...
It has absolutely nothing to do with anything else than the back cut on the teeth of the ring gear and bendix. No manufacturer(including Parts sourced by Yamaha) of ring gear or bendix does enough back cut to reliably engage every single time. Look closely at the ring gear and you will see the...
I also used an OEM Superjet seal on mine and fits perfectly. I have used contact cement and superglue with just mediocre results with high usage. I started glueing all of ours down with the “Right Stuff” and have not had one even barely begin to pull loose. It’s kinda like RTV black but much...
Small DVX bracket fits nicely on the Rickter and Revolver. You don’t need to modify the pole at all, just have to fill the big holes and drill the XS pattern for mounting the pole. I suppose you could silicone a thin plate to the pole bracket area and sandwich it between and drill the smaller...
I put XS poles on both of the boys competition skis. I filled the holes and put a layer of carbon over the pole bracket area before re drilling the XS layout. Revolver hull was virgin so I drilled what I needed without prep work to fill. Both turned out well and have hood liner breathers
