New in the box, Yamaha start solenoid part # 6G1-81941-10-00 as used on pre 02 Superjets. I prefer to use this type even on later models. Retails for $75.25.
If we are friends or related it would be $ 58.30 shipped Priority, lower 48- more elsewheres. (Jetmate in picture is not included!)
Clear case of stuck solenoid aka start relay- the contacts arced and stuck/ welded together. Once it does that, it's toast. It is located inside the ebox.
That's an a/m kit. Suggest you wait til you receive the used Mitsuba you ordered. If it looked really good on the outside in the pics, It might be a good one. Take off the tail end, make sure the brushes have at least 60% life left and are not stuck. Pull off frnt. cover and make sure no...

M10-1.25 Helicoils are available in 10,15 and 20mm length . It is generally assumed that 1.5 times the diameter of a fastener is it's max. holding strength in steel, more for aluminum. You don't have room for a 20mm insert- nor would it be needed. The 15mm insert would be just fine- if too long...
These units just came out, too early to expect back to back testing maybe. Borut claims stronger spark at high rpm- that would / should be good for boat chasers or racers. I think Borut found better, larger capacitors for his new units that charge up faster.....
And for the 760 purists and those who can afford a 760 box: it fits well, might possibly pad it a little to keep from moving around a bit (like in rattling) which might be hard on the ribbon cable.
Slightly different shape- but mercifully still fits into61x/62 t ebox. A little cattywampus looking but with a thin fiber washer under the cable retainer bracket for better spacing, it
fits nicely.
When I got all whiny to my doc about muscle weakness - she figured out that I'm anemic based on my CBC (shortage of red blood cells). Told her I'm taking otc B-12 pills for that and she determined that would not help 'cause I probably lacked intrinsic factor (always lacking...
Flywheel "bolt" torque is 47 ft/lb. Degrease f/w to crank mating surfaces, the taper keeps the f/w from slipping not the key - it's just there for alignment.
You might consider getting your 4 lbs something f/w lightened to 3 lbs 6 oz, or better yet to t/l 2.5 lbs. The zeel is not very power hungry. BTW. , did you remove the 3rd small lump /reluctor off your f/w?
Sorry, that was a bit confusing. The complete set up shown in post#1, had been $965 since March. I had lowered it Friday to $890. - It is still available.
