    Have to agree. Its common to have them crack at the base of the gun-well, don't recall ever seeing it in the middle of the tray.

    So while you have that out try to hook up your hose to the Hose the pump uses and see if water comes out the bypass.

    Could be the wear on the Pump housing, the brass fitting Clogged/cracked the Hose from the Hull to the pump. the hose from the Hull to the Exhaust manifold. if all that checks out, you may have excessive sediment in the cooling channels. Any thing like that in the hoses when you took them...
