    SX/SXi/SXi Pro Recreational upgrades

The SX models have a terrible Prop (Aluminum 14-18) But has a decent Nossle (80mm) The SXi Pro has a decent Prop (Stainless 9-17) But a terrible Nossle (76mm) Both benefit from a Stubby pump cone. thought I used a Box wrench when I replaced my Steering Cable.

when Mine Backfired while riding at speed it was the OEM stator going out. Pulse coil was just past the service limit. When Mine backfired and would not start at all is was because of a WSM replacement Stator, they are all bad from the factory.

    Timing Advance? Yay or Nay?

Both the SX and SXI pro were 13 Degree BTDC @1 250 RPN and the SX 16 BTDC @ 2 500 SXi Pro 20.2 BTDC @4 000

    Timing Advance? Yay or Nay?

I think it was 95 when they made the Change. In 95 you could get a SX or an SXI and the SXI had to BP. I think the CDI was changed in 96, and had a Change to the Low end timing advance, but I can not find the curve for the older models ATM.

650 sx nozzle on a 750 sxi pro?

Also 750 SX model (92-95) pumps used an 80MM Reduction nozzle, coupled with a stubby pump cone does indeed give a little extra low end throw.
