Book says 19.5-20.5mm at the rear... I aim for approx 20 & as said above a few belts with a soft hammer will do the trick...

Check the bolts on the keepers, I have had to trim a few as they bottom out on some skis, rattle like crazy..... Have done 10+ sets & its happened on 3 of them...

As nobody has said it, the higher your comp the smaller the gap.... Indexing plugs helps too but its a PITA. If you are going to spend bulk cash on mods, why wouldn't you do all you can to make your ski perform at 100%? Like someone else said, I see skis often that have all the gear but...

I have this set up on my ski. The stock spring is the one, just rotate it 180deg & cut off the extra inch (or not) have 3 skis in my crew with the R&D...all the same spring. The UMI wont fit..
