you need something with a soft leading edge to let the dry pipe spool up. a 9/15 hooker will load the engine too hard down low and not allow the pipe to work correctly. have somebody bend the prop u have.
now would be a good time to learn how to use a meter
set it to measure resistance. touch you leads together. the screen should normally show OL and when you touch them together it will beep / give you a number close to zero. now take the two leads and stick each one of them into a different...
7 gallons of gas into it... F this I need a carbon ski with a stroker and billet power valve cylinder.
that's pretty hilarious, im sure someone will get a great deal on your ski next year
when set up correctly, the dry pipe will make more power everywhere... problematic in other ways but they definitely make more power. I would rethink what exactly you are trying to accomplish. what you have here is a water jacketed wet pipe. pipes work better when they are hot
the dry pipe fuel requirements are pretty close to the same as a wet pipe. I can swap between a bpipe and my type 9 and all I have to do is knob on the screws a little bit. if your starting from scratch go with what factory pipe recommends for bpipe and tune from there
if it works correctly but is smoking and burning stuff up, id say bad connections or intermittent fault
take the ebox cover off and put a nice coat of glyptal over everything.
08+ superjet is hands down the funnest buoy boat.
It also happens to do pretty good in the surf.
That's why it is the best ski ever made... Drinkability
dilly dilly my friend
buy a new superjet, make a few handling mods and ride the piss out of it and keep it forever. build Your dream ski on the side when money / time permits, but you'll always have that superjet as a daily driver
something is tied to ground that shouldnt be. trace out the wires for the entire system to make sure it is all connected correctly. start at the (+) post and follow it
