I agree with you, that photo was taken before I had it finished up. I turfed the bottom of the waterbox and fuel tank today, as well as the battery tray and bpipe cutout. An aluminum box/tank will eat through a hull/pipe quickly if they are vibrating together.

That's what I'm hoping for! Learn how to ride this hull then step it up with a different pipe. Got the water box finished, inserts epoxied in, and motor fully assembled and bolted in! It will be running tomorrow!

Yea, my plan was to run the bpipe this season and upgrade over the winter. I've bored it out and polished it to at least 52mm.

Finally! After an 7 month wait my TPE 1105 can in today! I took the day off work and put in a good 12 hours on it. Going to have it ready for the water by the end of the weekend! Had to whip up a quick waterbox

The threads on my 148mm MAXX pump were female 1/4 NPT, so if you are using tubing with a 1/2" ID, the McMaster P# would be 53525K19. If the tubing ID is 3/8", the fitting would be 53525K17. Or use Jetmaniac, I'm pretty sure he is nearly as fast as McMaster.

Hah! I F-up more poop than most, I just don't post my F-ups. I don't understand where that metal piece with the crushed end was located; was it in the tray? A coupler? Part of a longer exhaust tube that broke?

Nothing a mandrel u-bend and two welds can't fix. All the clearance you need!

I didn't WANT to leave but I had prior engagements. Like, getting my own ski done. The ski felt pretty good but the the pole is just too short for my riding style coming from my FX1. Can't wait to get mine out on the water! Really really hoping my motor ships tomorrow!

Well I've got several quotes back and it looks like I would have to sell them for $185 a set shipped for it to be worthwhile. That would include one pin, bolts, washers, and latch spacer plate. I would have to order ten sets. I guess if there is any interest at that price I will make them, but...

I'm finally caught up on tanks and now have one of each in stock! The sight tube is a free option on all new tanks.
