+1 for this guy. I took my 1105 Brawler down to him with 102nd7 last weekend for some tuning. He was able to figure out the issues I was having and had my setup tuned within an hour. I would definitely take my ski to him again if I change some stuff and need some additional work!

You lucked out! The 300 is a very nice (and expensive) machine. The AC balance function basically just changes the amount of cleaning action vs penetration. For very clean aluminum, you can turn the balance up for faster travel, less heat input into the torch/electrode, and a smaller etching...

Nice! Way out of my price range though. On outside 90 joints with this clean aluminum, I'll usually use 150A, 75% balance, 120HZ, soft square waveform. Fillet welds 170A, 75%, 140HZ, soft square. I'm still learning how to optimize each setting for various weld situations.

Yes, I made some custom ones out of stainless steel after being unable to source them without ordering a very large amount. How many do you need? I have a few extra. Brian at RCW also sells them. I epoxied mine into the hull with a few layers of carbon over them.

102nd7 was the one running a stock 155 pump. He upgraded to a 155 mag this year. I was running a 144mm Solas mag pump last year and upgraded to a MAXX 148 mag for this year. You want one? I've got two extras sitting here! It's already saved me a motor mount bolt/washer/shim that came loose...

I would definitely say it is! Then again, I don't really have much experience with big motors so I don't have much to compare it to other than 102nd7s 900 and my old 840. I am very very happy with the power so far. I'm running an ATP Epic ignition.

Finally rode mine tonight! Mine is just a mild setup with a b-pipe, pump gas, charging system, 148mm mag. It was far from properly tuned but damn this thing RIPS. The biggest motor I have ridden before was a PHP 900, but this thing is just nuts. Definitely a TPE belieber now!
