" I am in the Bahamas for the Yamaha dealer show 2020 is the last year they will have the regular super jet. in 2021 they will have a new four stroke super jet, they don't have pictures of it or anything but I am assuming it's going to be like what they are racing...
I watched James Juvet killing shoreline residual surf with flips in 2 foot deep water at Daytona on a different M1 and was most impressed with this hull's capabilities.
When you install your midshaft, it's imperative that it's bolt holes line up perfectly without putting midshaft in a bind regardless of where the driveshaft is centered in the bulkhead.
Another issue I failed to mention is excessive runout on custom driveshafts is going to wear out midshaft seals prematurely. The only option then is to monitor the grease washout frequency or replace the shaft with one that is true to oem specs; along with new M/S seals . Couch oem shafts that...
This is so true...I pull my SB 155 pump 3 times per year and grease re-pack it after stripping one shaft after one year use with no maintenance. I bought this latest driveshaft from you and it's been holding up with proper maintenance.
I've once had a charging system work intermittently due to bad green wires between ebox and stator. When I wiggled wires ohms would fluctuate. The charging system puts out only about 2 amps so a running bilge pump will slow down charging some but with a good battery shouldn't be an issue.
