    Superjet Dry pipe no EWI

I just say mid range because under 3000 rpm, you're barely even on plane.

    Superjet Dry pipe no EWI

Ecwi is not that complex really (of course the internal workings of the unit are). a msd unit with the stock settings works pretty well for a ski that's running around a race course. And yes you want cold water going into the solenoid. Ecwi will make these older race pipes hit harder in the...

    Superjet Dry pipe no EWI

The instructions are still on factory pipe's website last I checked.

    Superjet Dry pipe no EWI

A mikuni carb jet. I'd probably start with a 150 or so. There are fittings you can get to hold it in line. (You can also get other types of water restrictors with plastic inserts of various sizes). Flow control is not the same thing. That just allows water flow through it once a certain...

    Superjet Dry pipe no EWI

The pisser's should never be tee'd. I would run a tee on one of your cooling INLET lines (assuming you have dual cooling which you should) and run a hose to the stinger with a restrictor jet. This is how the r&d dry pipe designed their cooling routing and it would be the same procedure for an...

Super Jet Quest to build a fast super jet

Btw, ADA recommends going to one dome size larger (lower compression) when using a dry pipe.

Breather hose attachment, what’s out there vs what I use

I just drill the hole out and clearence them a bit and glue in with windshield urethane. You'll need some sort of fixture to hold in place while it cures. There were a few retailers that sold flange kits at one time (havent checked around recently), showtime freestyle, blowsion to name a few.

    Noise complaints

Sure, however it still might reduce decibels a little more in addition to using a quieter exhaust

    Noise complaints

Just a thought: I come from an automotive background and there's a product called lizard skin that's a spray on sound deadener. Wonder if that would help if sprayed on the inside of the engine compartment of a ski

Super Jet Hood not tight Watcon hood seal

You can theoretically remove the latch, fill the holes with high strength thickened epoxy then re drill the latch mounts slightly higher on the hood. Had to drill the latch holes on my carbon hood and that is what I did. Slightly on the high side, and it is a tiiiight latching mechanism now...

2010 SJ intermittent stall below half tank

Could be the fuel sloshing around and uncovering the fuel pickups. The old trick of replacing the rigid fuel pickups with sections of fuel hose and clunk filters at the end may help. Those can drift around and sort of follow the fuel around in the tank.

    Aftermarket engine vs aftermarket hull

8mm stroker at 85mm is another good option. Have ridden one set up like that and to say it ripped was quite the understatement. Beach starts were crazy...Takes off so fast you barely have time to get in the tray. Also rius was not using a stock hull, it was a longer carbon hull and that would...

    Yuasa agm battery

Great option for a superjet and better than the off the shelf ones from batteries plus. Has 310cca, includes the needed spacer and new hardware. Summit racing stocks them You do have to fill them with acid yourself but it is very easy and mess free

    Hand guns

Had a chance to try a ppq in 22lr, pretty nice lil pistol for cheap target practice. Definitely had some hiccups on the first few magazines since it was brand new, but it smoothed out. Some take-up in the trigger but not bad. Was also interesting to finally use an integrated laser sight for...

    Piston Wash, Superjet 62T w/B-pipe

Group k just bored one for me from 42 to 52mm. We'll see how I does lol. And I thought they were 'conservative' with their builds. The older b pipes with 42mm id were detonation city
