I think it's a combo of both.
The trailer is very light aluminum and it's about 10ft wide with 3/4 plywood decking and the small wide tires.
You watch as they back in and it just starts to float up
A couple in my crew use a flatbed deck aluminum snowmobile trailer, and have 3 ski's on it.
It becomes a PIA if they take all 3 skis off as it floats when trying to load them back on.
Usually 1 person has to stand on trailer to weight it down than load the 1 ski in middle than it's fine to load...
Not sure about Canada eh, but Ebay has gotten crazy with there rules and taxes. Not what it use to be. It's almost not worth it but I just needed to off some of my kids old snowboard gear and clothes and with no swaps anymore because of corona, I had no other choices.
Good luck with new rules
I started him on a 550 last summer. He did great riding on his knees the 1st ride and stood up twice on straight aways. This was in salt water bay.
2nd ride was in the lake and he stood up most of the time.
Can't wait to get him out riding this season
It just seems to be Yamaha, dealers have plenty of Kawasaki's and Seadoo's
I've heard a lot has to do with the storms in Texas and that's where Yamaha gets materials from.
It's crazy to think dealers will have no stock to sell all season
