I vote that you are having water ingestion problems. Do you have the pto coupler cover installed? Siphon clogged? Not hooked up? Make sure that your air filter is just a screen(no paper element) it can get saturated with water/fuel and act like a choke.... A dry bilge makes for a happy engine.

If its an old round body bn carb toss it in the trash and get an sbn, put a fresh carb on there and it'll run like never before

And dont use silicone that is the most garbage sealer there is.(it has its uses but a jetpump is not one) Ever tried to remove silicone after it's cured? You can rub it right off with your finger effortlessly. What do you think the water is going to do?

I had this real clean 650sx pump from my old JetJon, (man I miss that thing) but I had to cut the ears off so it would mate up to the pump tunnel I was using. It has been sitting in a tub for the last 2 years. The wear ring was like new but practically useless for anything else so I never tossed...

"The Right Stuff" I think its from Permatex..... Lets you seal the pump and its safe to ride in an hour. Never let me down. Great for Saturday morning fixes.

Just a quick wet sand....

Squirt some Panel-bond in that chit, hold it together with c-clamps for a day or so then go ride.

Zip ties on the fuel lines? Maybe lines are losing their prime? Bn44 or sbn44?

After seeing the ski all one color it sure looks so tiny. So pumped to ride! Gonna wet sand and buff soon. Just giving the gel plenty of time to cure and whatnot. I have just about everything to finish up the build. I do need to find a cutback sxr impeller tho, dont think a skat 15.75° is...

For my first time spraying gelcoat I am very pleased on how everything layed down. But I'm not out of the woods yet, hopefully it hardens.

A couple more layers yet for the hood. Hull is happening tomorrow.
