My build right now is a JS550 top on a 650sx bottom, bondlineless, glassed on FX1 tubbies, X2 trim, 750 small pin light mods..... Id like to possibly flip it in some big surf but it needs to still be able to ride and not porpoise like crazy. I like to cruise around but still be flatwater fun...

Hooray!!!! Finished all the glasswork on the inside of the hull. Them Tubbies make this thing pretty wide in the front...... Weighed the hull today. As it sits with the hood on it was only 76lbs. Should be quite a light ski.

So I've cut the bondline down 1.5" at the nose tapered to 0 at the bulkhead. Looks more low profile not so tall and goofy...but this now will probably make the ski want to dive/sub while hard in a turn or plow through not jump the wave. So its getting Tubbies glassed on to make basically a...

All lined up... Time to stitch her together. This 650sx bottom has the same width stern to bow as the 550. However the bondline is not. About 1/2" wider on each side..... but not no more:cool:

So I guess what we now have here is a "JS550/650 bondlineless deck swaped hull running a lightly modded 750"...... wow ...... Good news is my resin just arrived and the machinist called and my cylinder has been fresh cut to 1.5mm Woot Woot. ~770cc :D

Not really, it looks as if its 3 pieces....

Does anyone know if you can twist the center section of the kawi 750 starter clockwise more toward the mani? Not much room in the js hulls. It's way to close to the pipe for my liking.Should be able to disassemble and rotate slightly I'd think. Pic explains... Thanks, Thomas.
