    Yamaha Waveblaster 2 stall

They're not the same, 760 cdi has a plug, 701 cdi has wires with bullet connectors. I'm not sure if you could jumper the right connections to make a 701 work in a 760 or not though. But at that point probably easier to get hold of another 760 cdi, probably try all the other stuff before crossing...

    Yamaha Waveblaster 2 stall

Might be spark related, could maybe try putting fresh plugs and maybe gapping them tight like .015"-.02" and see if there's any change. I had symptoms like this and changed the cdi and it fixed it and also changed the coil on a different ski with same symptoms and it fixed that one. I imagined...

    Apple AirTag for ski tracking

I've experimented with bluetooth under a car into the cab and it worked well, I would think the steel cab would make a way worse faraday cage than a fiberglass hull

    66E Conversion

What I found was a suspension bearing for a Kawasaki 4 wheeler, 92046-1290. It’s also listed other places as a ta202725 and sometimes as just a ta2025. I haven’t looked super hard but if you can find one with an oiling hole im sure that would be preferable. 20mm Id 27mm od 25mm thick

    Carbon vs Fiberglass test

Not to say the parts don’t look good and you shouldn’t do some testing on them, just saying composites is a big can of worms haha

    Carbon vs Fiberglass test

Carbon fibers have higher Young’s modulus, tensile strength and lower density than glass fibers, it’s not a conspiracy. The performance of a particular composite part has way more to do with the manufacture methods, layup schedule, appropriateness for the given loading than carbon vs glass. The...

    1991 SJ650 superjet

Unfortunately it seems with these motors this symptom can point to almost any problem, stator could be the issue, cdi, could just need plugs. Could also be a fuel issue external to the carb. Motor could even have low compression and run like that, although ime 650s seem to be indestructible. I’d...

Other What did you fab up today? A thread for the home fabricators!

Yes, pretty sure I understood what you were doing, you cannot move out and back to the same position and expect to measure backlash. The difference between your commanded .05" and what the dial indicator is reading is your backlash but you should properly set steps/in as I suggested first. PM me...

Other What did you fab up today? A thread for the home fabricators!

Always landing on 0 moving the same direction does not indicate 0 backlash, set your steps/inch in mach3 using as close to the full travel of the machine as you can to minimize error. Setting steps/In over .05” and adjusting steps to compensate for backlash is for sure what’s throwing you off...

    New wax racing fuel tank

Nice, curious did you guys cut the mold or did you have the molding company handle that, how many tanks did you have to order to make it worth it? Should have said you can get it any color so long as it’s black. Lol

    LSP Revolver 61X

I wouldn’t run that dome, looks like someone already did a bad job turning it once, even if you try to sand it smooth you’re gonna have hot spots without removing so much material you end up with excessive squish on one cylinder, if you post measurements I can tell you if it’s the same as an ada...
