Steering was great today! Problem solved:bananapowerslide: Small mod to the inner bushing did the trick

It looks like on a stock RN pole there may be a slight mod needed. I put the center bushing in my belt sander and shortened it about an 1/8" so the nut doesn't bottom out. I will post my results after today's ride

Help! I 'm having problems getting the wwobble out of my new Xmetal steering!. I installed it last night, nice and tight, and then two seconds on the throttle and it's all wobbly, so I went back to the launch tightened it up and went back out , only to have the same problem with loosening up...

For myself, I'm driving a long ass way to be there all I want to do is ride I could care less which place ( MY 2 CENTS):grouphug:

Try adjusting both ends until it fits better. I just recently realized there is an adjustment at both ends, ( turn nozzle, and turn plate) ( Loosen lock nut and turn clockwise.) when I installed a new Xmetal -3.25 steering plate. I had to make all kinds of adjustments to make it work properly

Ya she's freekin crazy SURFDOG she ran like that for about 6 hours, slept for 3 1/2 hours on the ride home, no spring chicken like my old ass:kabong:

Just don't look too close at the numbers! f-ckd up the first one all wrinkly and sh-t, then I tried the heat gun method, and with about 2" left to go the freekin heat gun exploded in my hand ( second one since turf job) so probably have to reorder and buy another heat...
