The 650sx is a subpar ski. It's heavy and slow and the 650 motor is to small for it. If you have some go fast stuff on it give it a try and practice with it. Realize it will beat up the ski.
Buy some hood straps and install a high flow bilge pump to evacuate the water as quickly as possible...
I wouldn't get a backup ski with a big motor. I used to have a SeaDoo SPX and XP both were 800s and the hulls are a ton of fun. you could also look into a GP 760. We rented those quite a bit back in the day and always walked away with a smile on our faces.
Someone posted in a local FB group, they were looking for a trailer for their Sea Doo RXT...it's 12ft long btw. That is not even a ski anymore, that's a small over powered boat. lol
Agreed there...I work in a cubeville with 3 ladies and they are loud sometimes. Luckily the headphones drown out most of it. On the cusp of being able to work remotely FT though so that will be nice.
