just playing had some time to play today so I curved the handle so the nose of the ski has something to set against ,thats also where the winch crossbar will go through the handles at the height of the tie lug on the ski . will have better pic later when I do some welding first .....right now...

Im using a winch motor with a gear attached to the spool as a power unit , there is a knob on the end of the spool that you pull out to let it freewheel , I have attached a cable to the knob so it can be operated at the handle when needed , so going down hill '' slight grade '' power wont be wasted

I use waterproof grease for the midshaft and a thin lightweight ''white'' brake lubricating grease for the rear bearing .., no issues so far ........ been testing the same bearings for 4 years now ! However Im Real fussy about what I put in the engine !!!
