How did your setup run with the Oem FA? Did you have screens removed? I ran around 30 psi along with many others who run that setup. Going to an open arrestor will make you need to lower your popoff usually but you're already at a good starting point.
That's not really changing much. Flame arrestors will change popoff. Reeds won't require a jetting change and 760 manifold flows awesome. I ran vf3s, open tau cetis and a 760 manifold with crossover filled.
If you want to go local and get it asap and the stud route is all that works, and your hardware store doesn't have any.. Look for full length threaded bolts . Worse case scenario you cut the heads off and make your own studs
Definitely put padding underneath your feet if you plan on doing any sort of aerials!
Also, put padding where the front of your ankle meets the foothold.
A swollen wear ring would suggest it is bulged in one spot. Do you ride saltwater? Very rare in a freshwater ski. You have 3ither a swollen wear ring or the aluminum prop is your clearance issue. Judging by the way the OD of the prop looks im guessing its the prop. You need a prop anyways, might...
You still have the Oem aluminum prop and you can see visible wear at the edges. It's a stainless ring and an aluminum prop, so it's quite possible a new prop will fix your clearance issue.
Did you decide on a prop yet?
If you have dual 38s on your stock motor you can't use stock intake manifold. You can use the reed cages but I wouldn't use the metal petals they come with. A stock 760 intake manifold will work if you fill the crossover with epoxy, that's the cheapest option. Really depends on what your budget is.
10/16 hooker or 12/18 yq-cd solas if running a 144mm pump. Make sure your intake manifold has the crossover filled if it's stock. Reeds are up to you, not going to be a make or break your setup. Holeshot likes carbon techs on stock cages or vf2s. IMO only go with vforce if you're trying to...
X2
With a head, pipe, and either an Enhancer or modded cdi(200$ cheaper option yet still good gains) , intake grate, having your flywheel lightened you will be more than happy. And be much under 2500$.
Pipe alone will make the biggest difference.
Oem 06-07 is around 120 shipped nowadays. Beefier than pre06 and last a long time. Mines been through hundreds of max throw flatwater 360s, slightly kinked on the pump end, and it's really long for my ski so I had to snake it around and apparently I wasn't real careful so it rubbed through the...
Have a starter with mint brushes but the piece in the upper left broke internally. Looking to see if someone has just the upper left in the picture piece of an oem starter that still has good brushes.
Thanks!
