Unless theyre cheap copies and the plastic snaps causing the reed stops and backing plate to get crunched by the crank lol.
I like the idea though. Reed screws aren't being screwed into plastic and maybe the softer plastic cage makes them last longer. IDK
Those reeds retail for 80/set for Rad...
I ran an Oem 701 head with dual cooling a few years back. Just tapped the opposite side water jacket, didn't weld on any extra material. Zero issues. Im guessing this head might have some material to do it that way too
Because working with foam is a really easy method? Yoga blocks are made out of the same material as the hydroturf brand wedges and are 9lx4wx6h and come in a pack of 2 for 11$ shipped on amazon and the leftovers work great for numerous different things including pole pads. Hydroturf brand would...
How does that cost upwards of over 1000?
Safer due to less timing up top, plug and play trouble free. Don't know why a beginner wouldn't do it if they already planned on upgrading to an Enhancer. Have a friend new to skis that just did the zeel swap. Wouldn't say it's not beginner friendly...
Because they're a digital ignition and use a sensor that allows you to run a zeeltronic programmable ignition which makes an enhancer feel like trash.
i picked up a lot of bottom end with my setup. Not to mention cheaper than an Enhancer if it fails and I haven't heard of anyone who's had a zeel...
Enhancer is a waste of money. For the same price you can sell your electronics, get 760 electronics and pickup a programmable ignition and get a ton of your bottom end back even with a dry pipe... B pipe would be easier to tune but either way programmable ignition is fantastic for getting more...
61x/62t or 62t/62t(couch) motor?
If you have the 62t cyl, it is known for having softer bottom end.
Dry pipes also have less response off the bottom. Pump tuning is going to be critical to getting your ski work off the bottom. More compression and an advanced timing curve would help as well...
Those will be easy, not any real severe bends. As long as you let the contact cement tack up it'll mold to the surface quite easily. No need for clamps, tape, etc. Heat gun helps around bends.
