I have been trying to nail a barrel roll lately. After talking to that dude at Murray lake last week (Airborne's Dad?), I realized that I was supposed to crank the handlebar to the left when launching off the wake. I was literally getting around half (half was my best) rotation without cranking...

I found the problem in mine. One of the prongs in CDI connector is broke and the other connector was badly damaged. Might want to check your too.

I was able to get it to fired up but it makes a popping sound and barely idle properly. I'm guessing there is something wrong with the carbs or there is a bad connection somewhere that affects the ski.
