Looks good, man! Several people claimed the RRP pole is heavy, I believe they are heavier than the stock SJ pole. If you are trying make this ski lighter, RRP is probably not the way to go. They looks cool as hell. I almost bought one for my sxr but went with X-metal pole.

My 11' SXR kinda did the same thing the past two seasons. It was not from 1/2 throttle to full. It was more like 3/4 to full. I checked the spark plugs and they were dark brown-ish.

Honestly, I believe the FX-1 will be a good choice for you since you love the way how the 550sx rides. I have rode a SXR, SN, RN, FX-1, 650sx, and js440.
