Custom/Hybrid Aircraftsalz new Rickter XFR SURF build Thrust Dasa powered

DOPE setup!!! Why is the gas tank so close to the motor? looks like it could be moved back a touch or are you using the motor to lean it up against? I thought you said something about a 4 gallon tank earlier... didn't work out?

Custom/Hybrid Aircraftsalz new Rickter XFR SURF build Thrust Dasa powered

i picked up a firewall mounted gas tank. i'd like to make it work in the superfreak but doesn't fit quite right... i'd like to do what your original thoughts were but i agree, things will become really tight and a bitch to layout / get right. i can't imagine NOT riding a short / wide hull now...

Custom/Hybrid Aircraftsalz new Rickter XFR SURF build Thrust Dasa powered

id love to have a white xfs/xfr in my fleet. they are the coolest looking skis - period! i see you have the firewall mounted gas tank pictured, but seeing where you installed the battery, are you scrapping the gas tank idea? great build - more pics!

    Roo's XS1000CC Rickter FS-1

understood. if you want a stupid wide tray, Superfreak all the way :) there is room to play with on the rickter ski's though for customs footholds no doubt.

    Other Bpipe vs. PFP

i did not have an adaptor to throw a prok on there... stock air box from a wetjet was WAY to tall and hitting the hood liner. this works good!

They are already pretty wide in the FS-1 Tray! I was happy with 'em.

    Other Bpipe vs. PFP

i will say my buddies 61x 701cc, msd enhancer / advanced timing, b-pipe, stock 144mm pump with 9/15 hooker prop did feel a bit snappier then the setup listed above. (his prop is WAY better matched for the application)

    Other Bpipe vs. PFP

this is a very rushed together setup, hope some of you get some laughs out of it  i literally pulled out my 1000cc longblock motor, and dropped this 701cc motor in place of it along with stock electronics. (whole reason i did this was because i sent my xs1000 down for a rebuild) the...

    first backflip attempt

I do not have pictures of it, but another forum member did the same thing: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/56865-WetJet-Westcoast-Pipes&highlight=wetjet basically the chamber outlet in stock form would point towards the rear of the jetski. to make it work in a standup hull, you would cut the...

    2012 Torch Lake, Michigan Freeride

i am not a firm commitment, but i'd love to make it up there. i rode torch lake a solid 6+ years ago on an old 750sx... awesome time. would love to return with the current ski for pics and vids - the water is unbelievable. please stick to this date so i can start putting a bug in peoples ears...

    first backflip attempt

the prop is the biggest problem... it is pitched for a 1000cc motor. mid and high is good, but bottom is lacking a bit. you can "feel" the motor wants to rev down low, but takes the smaller motor a bit longer to turn the taller prop.

    first backflip attempt

The WetJet motor came stock with the more desired 61x motor (46mm carb, WestCoast Head, WestCoast Intake manifold, WestCoast Exhaust (which we modified to try to use, but didn't fit in the hull do to the Superfreak tray being to far forward... works in an RN SJ no problem)) the xs1000 setup is...
