Wednesday I went out, and for the first time since I owned the Superfreak, the water was GLASS. Not a boat or ripple, period. Two observations: -I LOVE the way the ski handles during high speed turns - the unique design Tem did at the rear of the ski at the bond line really makes a HUGE effect...

yes - dropping 70 lbs from the fs-1 to this, a little bit of water isn't going to ruin my day... just a bit to bug me, that's all. i am using a Watcon hood seal - works great.

what type of silicone do you suggest? this has crossed my mind as well. at the moment no - the fs-1 has been sitting in the basement collecting dust. it will probably be put on hold until the winter when riding season is over. exhaust side is where majority of mine comes out as well.

if you are referring to your Trinity built hull - my buddy has a Trinity EVO SXR hull - takes on water EVERY ride. if yours stays dry - more power to ya :usa2:

one more thing that is bugging me is water in the tray... i have come to the conclusion, it doesn't matter what hull it is, they all get water inside the tray. every ride i have to drain it... (ski comes with two holes drilled and screws to seal 'em when riding) not much comes out, but enough...

overall, i am loving the ski - best riding ski i have ever been on. i have two issues i am currently dealing with. -front cylinder spark plug boot hits the hood liner and actually wore a micro hole in the boot. i just noticed this last night - passed my finger over it when running and ZAPPPP...

the front end comes up REAL quick when jumping - like crazy quick. starting out from a dead stop, it is a bit nose high, but quickly planes out. perfect really. however, i am only 160 lbs. someone bigger then me, might be an issue.
