Dom, The motor has to come out no matter what you do. Get it out of the ski then call me - we'll pull the jug off real quick and figure out if there is more damage. I have a funny feeling the bottom end on this motor might be done considering how slow it was turning over.

in a nutshell, small hole burned its way through one of my coils and is arching like crazy. i fixed it last year with a piece of electrical tape, but has returned. time to fix it right. i thought i had read some where there was an alternative to the expensive MSD coil... i don't mind...
