    Custom/Hybrid Hull Building: USS-ROOSKI

i agree - cost in the end is about the same or close... (not including labor if you were to pay a dollar amount on that) however, it is a GREAT time killer for the winter months.

    Custom/Hybrid Hull Building: USS-ROOSKI

broke the flange off the plug/model. carefully drilled out the inserts where i had plugged them with bondo/filler so the hull could be used again. because i had to cut the trim and 2 cool lines flush with the hull, i had no choice but to cut the try open (plus, i wanted to take a look inside...

Super Jet Who uses billet couplers on their modded Superjet???

running a xsceam 1000cc motor on stock couplers - there recommendation. need a "weak" link in the chain in case something bad were to happen (like mentioned above, slamming bottom and motor shafting violently, etc).

    Custom/Hybrid Hull Building: USS-ROOSKI

the first statement is partially true - one of my main focuses for doing this is i wanted something half the weight, but did NOT want to pay the price tag for it. i rather put the man hours in and learn something in the process (i needed something to occupy my time this winter when not at work...

    Custom/Hybrid Hull Building: USS-ROOSKI

first, i never signed a document when i purchased the hull saying i couldn't do this. second, post #1, point #3, i made it very clear this for my OWN personal benefit and will NOT be selling hulls. RRP has around $7000 out of me for the hull alone. it would be a different situation if i was...

Progress has slowed, but that's ok, I won't be missing any riding time :sneaky: FINALLY popped the bottom mold :Banane25: It was a pain in the ass - broke off most of the flange from the plug in the process but that's OK - needs to come off anyway for the top portion. Took Tru and I a solid...

    Freestyle Resins

I'd like to hear someone else chime in as well - I would like to know the difference. Depending on the Hardener you go with for West Systems, the Viscosity changes: http://www.westsystem.com/ss/typical-physical-properties/ The SUPER SLOW hardener brings it down to 650 cps. US Composites...
