Ok i really wanted to share a tale of tittys and beer but you guys will have to settle for another Square Nose build.
The idea for this build started with a spare motor, an oem 144 pump i had leftover from my fr2 and a crusty SN hull taking up space in my friends yard.
I started accumulating...
Just sealed up the last of my leaks in my project hull only to find that blowsion 1 way valve style flap scupper is leaking on the inner side of the valve. Probably the hose clamp from scupper tube to valve is loose.
I want to switch to the h2o designs flapper u guys linked. But getting this 1...
That looks pretty solid. I think Im going to do something real similar. Im thinking of leaving the surrounding area and just building up layers on top of it. I want to fix my rocker nose while im at it too
I had the waterdawg flap style on my old SJ hull. I liked it alot, no issues. It drained water really fast, just also took in alot when the skis upside down.
Same story with my Rickter flap scupper, love it, dumps lots of water but also gulps alot when skis upside down.
This project hull i...

I feel your pain my dude, i used this prop / shaft / bearings 1 ride...
Twisted 3 different prop tools before ultimately pipe wrenching the prop nose to death and bending the brand new shaft. Ended with lots of angle grinding and splitting with chisels.
It wasnt even my prop either lol sorry...
If youre set on repairing those holds and widen the tray more, you could always saw off the holds but keep the side walls so you just have a flat surface on each side of the tray. Then instead of those glassed in holds, you could run bob holds or straps after some reinforcement.
Just dont get...
Did u make sure your hood is sealed properly? Lay a dollar bill across your hood seal, latch your hood down over it, attempt to pull the dollar out. Do this test on every side of your hood seal in multiple areas. If the dollar pulls easy, adjust your hood prongs.
Prongs may come loose after a...
Hey thread bump...
Whos got pics of their am pole on a square nose fully extended and a pic of their pole bracket setup to go with that?
Looking for blowsion and rrp poles specifically... dual breather brackets too
Ive got a couple ideas, im hoping theres a solution out there im not aware of though.
One idea involves me creating a cad with blender and getting a quote from a machine shop.
2nd idea involves me spending alot of time getting itchy
I swear someone has to have thought of this before...
Edit...
Ive recently gotten into a SN project that will be a slow and steady fall/winter build.
I want to run a dual breather pole bracket. Probably with a blowsion pole or rrp pole. The problem is the SN bracket area is angled backwards, where my old RN and my Rickter are angled forwards.
What have...
+1, its been a whole year now since u posted last. I wana see this thing finished @Pushrod
Best documented carter b install on the x and u aint even gona let me finish? What a cock tease
Yes, lay the seam side in the groove first. The seam has more resistance than the rest of thr spring so lay that section of the spring down first. Then just stress your fingers to get it around or close to around. Can finish the rest of the seating gently with a tiny ass flathead if you didnt...
The 1in pad will sandwich my foot really nice into the standard rrp holds. Im using wrestling shoes and its perfect fit. My holds are close to being pushed all the way to th top of their adjustment. I run them a few mm lower than all the way up and its just right.
I just returfed my tray last december i think. Its 1 inch underpad with a layer of old waffle and then a new layer on top. Its still holding up good, i need to redo my footholds pretty bad tho.
Then i just started this haggard square build yesterday. Took the turf off today and trays all full...
1inch underpad the whole tray, then cover with the diamond turf u got. I ordered mine like this from factory, i think its an extra 50 bucks or something
