I only ride surf and have them packed hard together. They are gunna hit together regardless of the gap you leave cause the motor moves around way more then you would expect so the theory was packing them together for surf riding reduces the run up momentum able to be achieved before they hit.

Manfish from what I gather it takes every dollar of a hugely expensive setup to backflip off of your own wake your best bet is to ride in the surf or organise a v wake. As far as spending $20g+ I dont think the cash is worth the buzz of a piddly little flatwater b flip buy a trampoline.

The build quality looks top-notch! I bet it took ages to do all the matting. Definately one of the coolest looking skis I have ever seen but the only thing that concerns me is riding something that light weight and short in the surf is going to be a handfull.
