I would never d-cut a plate on a 550. They ride & balance way different than an sj, sxr, or whatever else. They're all trying to accomplish what you already have, an easier way to get the nose of the ski up. As long as you use your body lean & ride in the back of the tray, you shouldn't have...

I did it last year. Made some custom footholds, but I'm going to modify them, preferrably sometime later this week. It sucks, but was worth it.

to get a 750 in, you have to use the 550 coupler. If it's a big pin 750, you will have to either bore & re thread the 550 coupler or you can buy a billet one from JRE.
