180 CCA is plenty, our Tampa riders use 120 CCA Deka 9's no problem. I ran a little 5 battery once on a 855 motor and it would start it in the water and work if you were easy on the bilge pump switch.
Once I injured the ground wire from the stator right at the ebox grommet and I was getting shocked on the throttle lever. Hooked up a ground wire from ebox bolt to flywheel front cover bolt and solved it.
We need a need a new 155 pump/nozzle thread with latest info discovered by trial and error.
Pic shows about a max oem nozzle bore, I've run 90.35 for 11 months now and it performs well on a skat mag.
Saw a visual carbon Helium in person today at XS and it looked phenomenal and a bit more stable by design. The bond rails look extra wide and the changes are like Lm12 stated above per Bogart.
How much would you have to grind out the pump ears front and back to align the holes ? Aftermarket hulls don't use the dow pins so they are optional to use.
Would it be worth it to pull your fuel line off an oem filter and push on a spare fuel line and run the motor a bit in pre mixed non ethanol fuel so the carbs sit all week in real fuel ? Carb flushing...
I have diamond turf, it looks fine. The cleats are rubber and work well with the turf. Besides I would rather eventually change turf in holds than bandaids.
Update: I rode with these football shoes today and they keep you secure in the footholds like Magic ! Absolute necessity for flatwater riding if you are doing 180 hop flips to prevent flying out of the holds and getting injured. I ground the cleats down as shown in this pic.
