I have both UMI types on two different skis snd like them both. I would go with the angled if I had to pick. The single finger throttles are very nice if you don't have a touch of carpal tunnel because they have less leverage.
I put a 155 skat in my KDX with a JD pump shoe and everything fit well except ride plate is notched in for the stator/reduction nozzle joint casting. That SB pump really works fantastic in my ski.
I love my KDX too...one thing I like, it's easy to run a RN pole bolt with a Blowsion spring and keep the pole semi tight. The pole is effortless to move upward and I am spring spoiled/dependent for life. Haven't heard how to run a spring on the different design DVX.
Anyways...interesting to...
XScream has customers overseas that ride salt and use their Kawi coil mounting plate because of the reduction in voltage. The MSD coils produce 50,000 volts according to the msd tech dept. XS makes two different mounting plates to accommodate MSD or Kawi coils.
That's good you have the spare...yeah I was talking about the weight tabs in the bendix....see the link I posted under my edited post for pics by Jetmaniac, just to check your bendix out further.
Do not order an aftermarket bendix, it's better to get a clean used oem one. Some guys have soaked their bendix in ATF overnight to clean and free it up; they get more use out of it but who know how long. Moisture in the front cover causing surface rust is the main reason they stick, but check...
Bring your pistons with your cylinder to the machine shop and request they bore the cylinder so it has .0045 piston to cylinder wall clearance (4 and a half thousands of an inch). They will know what that standard term means.
