Custom/Hybrid Superfreak Surgery; Nip & Tuck to make a -4.3

Sealed up, just a bit more filler to smooth out all the holes and bumps. Tray is also sealed back up, forgot to take pics though. Almost time for turf... Sent from my Superfreaky Droid 2 Global using Tapatalk... braaaaap!

SXR Need some carb advice for SXR

That sucks! I think you are best not to run them that way. If they were stuck then who knows if the circuits are plugged too? Factory pipe's settings are notoriously rich, but I still wouldn't take a chance with the stuck screws. I might have a set of those style carbs here (mikini 40i's)...

Super Jet Found an Superjet - Done!

Yeah, nice find! I'm always looking at CL here in CO and there hasn't been ANY deals all winter... but this one you found! I never even saw it, you must have snagged it quick. Any decent cycle shop should have NGK boots in stock. Do what they say, oil it, fuel it and fire it up. Nothing to...

Custom/Hybrid Superfreak Surgery; Nip & Tuck to make a -4.3

I've been out of town so no progress lately. I made fairly large cuts in the tray which allowed me to get in there and lay a couple layers of carbon in the rear corners to help tie it to all back together. Sent from my Superfreaky Droid 2 Global using Tapatalk... braaaaap!

Surfriding Anyone try any of these kayak helmets?

I have one of their earlier models called the "lector protector" (google it). Very sick looking but uncomfortable as he!!... Hopefully they have improved their fit and padding. Also the hardware on it was plated, not stainless so it rusted quickly.

Custom/Hybrid Superfreak Surgery; Nip & Tuck to make a -4.3

Haven't put much time into this lately, but made some progress today: inside is tabbed in and reinforced with carbon, outside is reinforced with carbon, and I trimmed off the back edge. Now time for much sanding, shaping, filler, sanding, shaping, etc... Looks like a nasty mess right now. :(...

Custom/Hybrid Superfreak Surgery; Nip & Tuck to make a -4.3

Our season is longer that you would expect - Pueblo is generally milder than the rest of the state - lake doesnt freeze over at all. April 'til October is possible if you are brave in April/early May. Water stays warm-ish until early October. Weather is a roller-coaster ride. Could be 40's...

Funny, yeah... that's a Government project, I'm sure they'll get right on that! Ha! They keep hiring people every couple years and talking about it but I never hear of anything really happening out there... your tax dollars at work.....

They don't look like aluminum in my Freak. I can see the stringer boards where I cut into the tray. I think it is some sort of foam board like divincyl or a composite board of some sort.
