alright so i just bolt the reed spacers onto the back of that, then the carb manifold bolts onto the reed spacer?

in the first picture is that gold piece between the cases and the carb manifold part of the cases? it came like that from the factory, but it looks to be like a small read spacer? im gonna be putting read spacers on, will those just bolt right onto those?
