The Bearings that go in the pump and midshaft are the same. 6205 is the bearing number. Yes the the midshaft is a sealed bearing. And I believe the point of the grease fitting on the midshaft is to lube the seals. If there was no lube the seal lips would burn up. The pump yes have the seals...

Pro-Tec cable isn't the greatest. I have a Pro-Tec trim on one of my RNs. It is changed to an up nozzle not a drop. And the cable does not last. 2 cables in three years. Plus the ends are small and take the barrel adaptor. On my other RN I have a Wamiltions trim and that cable is the bomb...
