I use a impact screwdriver to get mine in and out. Sropped stripping them since I did that. I like the hex idea too. Wonder if mcmaster has them in stainless.

Mine looks pretty sitting in my workshop ;) I bought a glass gel coat only. I would say the fit and finish is on par with my XFT. It looks so good just in the gel, I don't plan on painting it, maybe just adding some stickers.
