How do you make the seam where the top and the bottom of hold meet not open up over time. Do you adhere the 2 pieces of turf together and then trim?
Totally agree on the PITA. Turfing is by far the worst job.
I think you did an excellent job on your freak. I wasn't putting down your turf job at all or saying mine was better cuz it isn't.
I think rose was just asking why people have trended towards having separate pieces on the top and sometimes the bottom of the holds. I have only turfed 5 skiis so...
I have mine stuffed into my front foothold on my chan. I am going to hold it in there with some straps and clasps. I am using a smaller kitchen sized one. Its a bit shorter than a coast guard approved version. Same diameter.
On my sj I have one of the toby? front holds that open up to put one in.
Bringing back a old thread. How do you tell the difference between the two? I have what I was told is a 13/18 hooker, but I am wondering if it is a skat.
I have been running it in my non-pv 838 and been wanting to try a lower pitched prop, but I am unsure on what I am running.
Nice, very slick! I can see how that recess allows the screw to countersink. If you have extras you want to sell let me know otherwise I am going to order from mcmaster soon.
