Snapped the steering cable on my waveblaster and I'm curious if a superjet steering cable will work? I've got a spare cable I would prefer to use rather then buy new.

Protec is just a adjustable rev limit. Msd has a different timing curve. Msd would be the better choice but beware on used electronics.

I was able to run a limited in my ROKr which I was told would never fit. Mine fits tight but works great. I would imagine you can run one in a bob with a small waterbox (xmetal gen 1, jetmaniac box, etc..)

I'm running a 9/15 hooker on my very similar setup. Great bottom end. Depending on your elevation you my be able to step up to a 10/16 hooker. Either one would be a great choice.

Those are 38's. probably way too small for your setup. The 38's only run one fuel pump and the other carb is just a "slave".

Shouldn't it need less of a extension to get full throw of the cable since the cable is bottoming out on the pump side?

No adjustment on the nozzle and I've tried movie it in all the way on the steering plate and still nothing. I can get the throw somewhat even on both sides, but it's little to no throw.
So I've recently went from thrust trim to xscream trim and installed a new steering cable. Cable is a 96-07 and I'm using the xmetal cable extension on the steering cable. Issue is the steering on the pump end bottoms out and will not give full throw. I feel like it's only allowing about 45-50%...
Can't remember the inside diameter of the washer I used. If you have a mic you can just measure the coupler end and go from there.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. Finished up everything and let the 1211 setup for about a day and then went to go move the motor and found a dowel laying underneath it. I know one for sure was still in it but the second one must have fell out when I flipped the case to put it on. Really don't...
